"Auntie" Artemis is often on hand to sniff down the puppies and plays with them when mom Simi needs an extra pair of paws as she's often parenting up to ten puppies at a time and needs to fall asleep on the sofa during the day to recover.
However, she has been known from time to time to relish pre-parenting freedoms and misbehave more than her children, becoming distracted by more trivial pursuits, such as fence jumping the creek to chase critters.

When the hounds aren't enjoying family life, they're winning awards as members of the Mastiff Club of America and the Mastiff Club of Northern Ohio.
Their human parents are Mastiff breeders who can sometimes also be seen on screen manhandling these gentle giants and taking on the mighty challenge of finding collars big enough for their humungous hounds.
