How many dogs does Adele have?

Adele’s one and only

Another important guy in Adele’s life was Attila, a miniature Pinscher who died in 2016 at the age of 17. Attila actually belonged to the singer’s ex-husband Simon Konecki, but after six years of living with Attila, the beloved canine felt just as much hers.

Clearly affected by his death, the singer cried on stage at her Chicago concert, dedicating her song “One and Only” to the pooch and saying he would live on in her heart forever.

The world may know him as Louis, but Adele’s darling Dachshund once went by a very different name - Britney Spears! When Louis was born, Adele was at a Britney Spears concert in London and decided to bestow the pop stars name on her new little guy.

But his moniker was short lived because just a few hours later, Adele heard Louis ‘singing’ and she decided he was definitely no Britney! When her started howling his head off to her Louis Armstrong record, it was clear that the search for a new name was over.

The love of her life

Louis is such a big part of the singer’s life that he appeared on the cover of Nylon magazine with her and is often by her side at parties and interviews. He also featured in her track-by-track video interview about her 2011 album, 21 and Adele was once quoted as describing the little Dachshund as the “love of her life”.
