Pet-A-Palooza 2021 kicks off at 11am on September 12 on Mainland Street in Yaletown, and trust us, you’re not going to want to miss this one-day pooch party that’s offering up a host of activities for dogs and their parents.

The social event of the year for pups and their people, Pet-A-Palooza Vancouver, also known as the Day of the Dog, is free fun for all the family and will feature a range of exhibitors and activities that everyone can take part in.

You’ll find plenty of free samples at the various booths, plus complimentary dog treats, food, accessories and toys. But the part of the day that’s got us the most excited? The puppy yoga party! That’s right, you and your canine companion can do the downward dog together! You’ll want to sign up quickly for this one though as spaces are limited for the two classes on offer.

And if you don’t fancy puppy yoga or you miss out on grabbing a ticket, there’s going to be plenty of other fun events to keep you entertained, including dog races and various competitions. We’re particularly loving the hilariously named ‘Running Of The Bulls’, two 30-foot races featuring English and French Bulldogs, and the knee slapping event ‘You Did What With Your Weiner?’ featuring the ever-adorable sausage dog.

So, grab your four-legged friend and your nearest and dearest and head to Pet-A-Palooza 2021 to take part in all the fun festivities this day has to offer. Oh, and don’t forget your competitive spirit and your camera - we have a feeling you’re going to want to capture every minute of this exciting event!

For more information and to find out how to register for races and activities, jump on over to the Pet-A-Palooza Vancouver website for all the details.
