I’ve had so much fun testing this $30 cat tracker – and it’s on sale for Memorial Day
Want to ensure your cat is safe outside? Now is the best time to invest in a tracker

As a pet mom of four, I know how scary it can be when your cat goes missing – even if it’s just for a few hours. That’s why using one of the best GPS trackers for pets can be incredibly reassuring, as it lets you track their location in real-time.
These devices can get pretty expensive, but I’ve just spotted the Tractive GPS Cat Tracker for 31% off on Amazon – just in time for Memorial Day. I test pet products for a living, and if I didn’t already have this tracker, I’d be snapping up this deal today before it’s gone.
If you're looking for an easy-to-use tracker that monitors both health and location, this is the one for you.

Was $49.99 Now $34.30
Featuring real-time GPS tracking with unlimited range, this device gives you peace of mind about your fur friend's safety and whereabouts. You can also monitor their health, set virtual fences, and review their territory.

Both PetsRadar’s editor Georgia and I have tested this gadget, and we were super impressed with the results. Don’t be intimidated by it – I had it up and running in around five minutes (and I’m someone with zero patience when it comes to reading instructions).
There are so many things to love about this GPS, but my favorite feature is the real-time tracking, which lets you watch your cat move around via an app. Cats are mysterious creatures, so it’s always interesting to see what they get up to when you’re not around – out of pure curiosity as well as safety concerns!
I was relieved to discover that Chilli only ventures up the road and back, with the occasional sniff around the neighbor’s garden. He’s gone missing for days before, and it turned out he was trapped in the house next door — if only I’d had this then!
Not only can you track your cat’s location, but the device also gives you interesting insights into their activity and sleep, flagging any potential health concerns. While I’d always take this sort of thing with a pinch of salt, it’s great to have a rough idea of their welfare – especially if I’m already feeling worried.

The tracker comes with a quick-release collar, and attaching the device is really straightforward. Chilli wasn’t too happy about it at first, but he soon got used to it and didn’t show any signs of discomfort.
My only gripe is that you have to pay a monthly subscription, but thankfully, you can pause or cancel it at any time. I’ve currently paused my membership and plan to reactivate it when I go on vacation or won’t be in the house all day (and I can confirm they don’t charge you while it’s paused).
If you’ve been thinking about investing in a pet tracker, now’s the time – it’s currently 31% off.
