If you’re looking for a video that’s really going to make you go ‘awww’, then this one where a cat and Pit Bull snuggle up together is not to be missed!
Having racked up more than 800,000 views since it was uploaded to TikTok three days ago, the 23 second video shows the beautiful friendship between Ernest, a Russian Maine Coon, and Hemingway, a blue nose Pit Bull - we know, those names are the cutest, right?!
And if you think their names are cute, just wait until you check out the footage of these two besties. Set to the music ‘Just the Two of Us’ by Grover Washington, Jr. the clip opens with Hemingway stretching himself out to lay beside Ernest, who’s sat beside the patio door.

With Hemingway’s paws touching his tail, Ernest accepts his brother's attempts to connect by walking over and nuzzling his face. The two spend a second staring happily out the glass door to the backyard beyond before Ernest lovingly collapses into Hemingway’s open arms and rolls over. And how does Hemingway respond? Why by placing his face on his bestie's stomach of course!
Proud mama Samantha captioned the clip with "I don't think I could've got a better moment than this,” and netizens have been quick to agree with one user writing “I cried watching this cause it’s so beautiful to see.” Another TikToker added, “Precious moments to treasure….unconditional love.”
Samantha explains that her two furkids were adopted at the same time so that they could grow up together and their friendship has certainly given us something to smile about today. Let’s hope we see lots more Ernest and Hemingway in the future!
